You're in. Now let's lock in your dates.

1 What you bought

Tap the service lines you just bought.

Each one gets its own two week build window. Add ons like payroll or an extra engagement type are built inside that service line's window.

2 Pick your start

Choose when Jo starts building.

Jo works on one firm at a time, and your service lines run back to back wherever the calendar allows. Pick a start and you'll see your whole plan, kickoff included.

Tap your service lines above, then pick a start. Your plan shows up here.

Nothing here that works for you, or all full? We don't build February 1 to April 30, but we can hold you a spot in May. Email support@buildthefirmco.com and Jo will sort it out with you.

3 Lock in your dates

Pick a kickoff time and you're done.

Your kickoff is the Friday before your build starts. Choose a time, add your details, and we'll hold your kickoff and every build window in one go. Jo confirms it all by email.

Pick your service lines and a start first.

Before your kickoff

Jo builds right inside your tools.

So she needs full access to every platform your firm runs on before your kickoff call. She checks it all on that call, and your build starts on time when it's ready. You'll get this list again in your kickoff confirmation email.

  • Your practice management software or CRMFinancial Cents, Karbon, TaxDome or whatever you run your work in.
  • Your booking systemCalendly, Cal.com or whatever clients use to book with you.
  • Your form builderIf your forms live outside your CRM, like Jotform or Google Forms.
  • ZapierIf you use it, or we talked about automations. It needs to be in your firm's name.

Plus anything else Jo flagged on your call.

Invite this email as a team member with admin access:

support@buildthefirmco.com

An invite is easiest, but if you'd rather share a login, that works too. Either way, Jo needs full access for your whole build. You can remove her or change your password the day after handoff. If a platform charges for an extra user, that cost is your firm's.

Then Jo takes it from here

What your build looks like.

  1. Kickoff. Dates, contacts and access all confirmed.
  2. The build. Jo sets up your workflows in your software, one service line per window.
  3. Your review. You go through everything in one batch and send your adjustments together.
  4. Walkthrough and handoff. A recorded walkthrough for your team, then it's yours.
Good to know

Questions people ask right about now.

I bought more than one service line. What happens?

Tap them all. Your plan lines them up back to back from the start you pick, and you only book one kickoff. Jo confirms the order with you on that call.

What if my access isn't ready by kickoff?

Jo can't start building without it. If logins aren't in place by your kickoff, your window may need to move to the next open one.

Can I change my dates?

Email support@buildthefirmco.com as early as you can. If another window is open, Jo will move you.

What if all the windows are full?

We don't build February 1 to April 30, because that's tax season for you and for us. Email us and Jo will hold you a spot in May.

Where's my agreement?

A signed copy of your agreement, with all the terms, went to your inbox when you signed. Can't find it? Email support@buildthefirmco.com and we'll resend it.

Questions? Jo's right here.

Email support@buildthefirmco.com or reply to any email from Jo. We can't wait to get your firm running on workflows your team actually follows.
